Sh*t Done Or Die, at shitdoneordie.com, is a task and focus app operated by Meny Speyer. Contact menysp@gmail.com for privacy questions, access, correction, a copy of your data or deletion requests.

Data and purposes

Guest tasks and attachments are stored locally in your browser. When you sign in, we store your email address and Google account identifier to identify your account. Tasks, subtasks, notes/status, tags, timings, reminders, quotes, preferences and uploaded files are stored to provide the service and sync your devices. Local copies may support faster loading and recovery after a connection loss.

Google sign-in

We request only openid and email. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, contacts, Calendar or private Drive files. Google account data is used for sign-in, account security and account-linked synchronization, not advertising or model training. You can revoke access in your Google account connections. Revoking access does not itself delete data already stored by this service.

Notifications and browser storage

Push notifications require browser permission. We store device push subscription details, reminder times and task titles to deliver them. Task titles may appear on your lock screen. Disable notifications in your browser or device settings. An essential sign-in cookie lasts up to 30 days. Local storage also holds preferences, guest tasks and cached files. Clearing site data may erase unsynced local information.

Providers and external media

We use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, database and files, Google for sign-in and YouTube, and browser push services to deliver notifications. Processing may occur outside Israel. Infrastructure providers may process connection data and technical logs, including IP addresses and browser details, for operations and security. Playing YouTube media connects to Google and is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not sell account information or task content.

Retention, security and deletion

Account data is retained for continued use; there is currently no fixed automatic deletion schedule for tasks and files. Account data and uploaded files require account authentication. No system is completely secure. Tasks can be edited or removed in the app. Removing an item from view does not guarantee removal of every uploaded file, cache or backup. For full account, data and file deletion, email us from the account address. We will verify the request and address it and any applicable limitations. There is currently no complete account-deletion button in the app. Contact us through the same address to request access, a copy or corrections.
